Medicine Bow Challenge

The Medicine Bow Challenge is an annual event for the Cowboy Battalion started by PMS LTC Ted Staver in 2000.  It is held the Friday of the first full week of school at the base of Medicine Bow Peak which is located about 35 miles west of Laramie, WY.  Cadets, cadre, alumni and friends of the program hike to the 12,013 ft peak together then return to the bottom for camaraderie and BBQ.  View Photos from the latest and greatest hike!
