Raechel Cook is a dot connector, experience constructor, and current Curator of Academic Engagement at the University of Wyoming Art Museum. She believes that the arts are integral to a complete education and works with UW faculty, staff, and students from all academic disciplines to facilitate meaningful art encounters with the Museum’s collection.

Raechel brings with her eight years of higher education administration as well as experience as a practicing artist. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Art & Design from the University of Northern Colorado and received her MFA in Visual Art from the University of Kansas. Her thesis work, The Inner Life of Nouns, explores collecting, our relationship with everyday objects, and how objects acquire meaning. Before coming to the UW Art Museum, she served as the Program Coordinator for Experiential Learning at the University of Kansas (KU) and as the Andrew W. Mellon Academic Programs Intern at the Spencer Museum of Art at KU.
