"Bringing the World of Art to Wyoming"
The University of Wyoming Art Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums (AAM). It is a member-supported institution with additional funding from public and private sources. The museum is located in the dramatic, award-winning Centennial Complex, which also houses the American Heritage Center. It was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Antoine Predock.
Museum exhibitions that focus on contemporary art, art of the American West, and art from around the world are displayed in a spacious gallery environment. Special programs, lectures, openings, workshops, classes, and tours are held on a regular basis. The University of Wyoming Art Museum offers a year-round source of education and entertainment for the academic community, the people of Wyoming and the northern Front Range, and visitors to the state.
