Exhibition Opportunities
The University
of Wyoming Art Museum accepts and reviews
proposals for exhibitions on a regular
basis. Exhibitions may be submitted
by artists or their representatives.
The museum has an active contemporary
exhibitions schedule by artists of regional
and national prominence. Emerging
and under-recognized artists are also
presented.
There is no fee
and no form to complete, however, proposals
should include the following information:
Digital images, or up to 20 slides, numbered
and labeled with artist's name and correct orientation
lide list with
artist's name, artwork title, medium,
date
Artist statement
(one page maximum)
Resume
SASE (self-addressed
stamped return envelope)
Cover letter that
includes any pertinent information for
considering the exhibition such as budget
and scheduling information.

The University
of Wyoming Art Museum is an educational
institution that was founded in 1962
on the principle of bringing the diversity
of American art and the art and artifacts
from other countries and cultures to
the academic community, Laramie residents,
and the people of the state of Wyoming.
Exhibition proposals are reviewed based
on the quality of the work, budget,
and the museum's programmatic mission.
