The University of Wyoming Art Museum is an educational institution that was founded in 1962 on the principle of bringing the diversity of American art and the art and artifacts from other countries and cultures to the academic community, Laramie residents, and the people of the state of Wyoming.  Exhibition proposals are reviewed based on the quality of the work, budget, and the museum's programmatic mission.
