Jack Rosenthal* --1991 Outstanding Alumnus

Broadcasting executive Rosenthal moved to Wyoming in the '30s. Following active duty in the Korean War, he and his family established and managed radio and television stations around Wyoming and four other states; His professional recognitions include the Alfred I. DuPont Foundation Broadcast Journalism Award, the U.S. Conference of Mayors Broadcast Pioneers Award for Community Service, and the Western Heritage Award for television documentary filming.
A 1982 UW Distinguished Alum, Rosenthal has served as director of the Milward Simpson Endowment and on the UW Adult Education Advisory Board. He chaired the U.S. Postal Service Citizens Stamp. Advisory Committee, and designed the Wyoming Centennial commemorative stamp.
