Patrick Patton 2010 Outstanding Alumnus

Bachelor of Music - 1972

     Patrick E. K. Patton’s work in the music field has deeply touched many student lives. Currently, Patton is professor of music and director of choral activities at Casper College.  He also serves as chorus master for the Helena, Montana, Symphony Chorale.
     After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming, Patton went on to earn master’s and doctoral degrees in choral conducting from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
      Patton has made more than 400 appearances on four continents as guest conductor, adjudicator, and workshop clinician. He conducted all-state honor choirs throughout the United States.
      Patton has conducted in New York’s Avery Fischer Hall, toured Europe as conductor of the Wyoming Ambassadors, and guest conducted for the International Schools Festival Choir in Bangkok, Thailand.
