What is the mobile printing service?

The Mobile printing service allows students to print documents from mobile devices through a web interface or the supported iOS app. This service integrates with the existing print monitoring solution and the print charges are deducted from your print monitoring account used on fixed lab nodes on campus.

How do I access and use the system?

What types of documents can I print?

The following document types are allowed:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
  • PDFs
  • Image files: JPGs, GIFs, TIFs, and BMPs
  • text documents

Can I print from off campus?

No, the service is only available to computers located on-campus and connected to hardwired connection or the UWyo wireless SSID.

What is the cost per print to use the service?

The print charges are the same as connecting through a fixed lab node. Print charge info can be found on the ASU Services for Students page.

How can I add money to my print account?

Additional funds can be added to your account by using the print quota increase utility on the UWStudent Print Quota Increase Utility page.

I had a problem with my print job and it is not usable, how do I get a refund?

You can visit a Lab Assistant in a staffed lab to request a refund, or you can email the Academic Support Unit at asu-it@uwyo.edu  Please be sure to include the name of the document, the date, time and how many pages.
