Reconfigure Apple Mac Mail After Office 365 Migration

Introduction

These instructions are to assist users with reconfiguring Mac Mail after their accounts have been migrated to Office 365.

Procedures

  1. Open a web browser and go to https://outlook.com/owa/uwyo.edu.
     
  2. In the upper right corner, click on Options and then click on See All Options...

  3. In the Account Information section click on Settings for POP, IMAP, and SMTP access...

  4. Copy down the server name under the IMAP setting section.

  5. Open Mac Mail and go to Preferences.
     
  6. In the Accounts tab uncheck Use Autodiscover service.

  7. Type in the new server address copied in the step above and add @uwyo.edu after your user name in the User Name field.

  8. Click the close perl (red button) and click save. Mac Mail is now reconfigured.
