Disable Java Version 1.6.0_19 Warning When Logging into Internet-Native Banner

A new security check for signed and unsigned objects has been included in Java version 1.6.0_19. This security check causes an issue with the Oracle engine jar files used by Internet-Native Banner (INB).  Information Technology is working with the vendor to correct this warning.

Procedures

1. Below is the behavior and how to correct it until a vendor fix is provided.
   
   
   1. Internet-Native Banner will allow you to enter your username and password normally.

   2. After clicking Connect you will get this warning.

   3. If you click Yes INB will exit.  If you click No you will be allowed to enter INB normally. Clicking No is acceptable.
       
2. To remove this warning please do the following:
   
   
   1. Go to the Java Control Panel by selecting Start , Control Panel, Java.
       
   2. Click the Advanced tab and expand the Security section and then the Mixed code section.

   3. Select the Enable – hide warning and run with protections button.
       
   4. Click Apply and then OK. The warning should no longer be encountered during login.
