This document is designed to assist students, faculty and staff with deleting their Temporary Browsing History and Cached information when using Mozilla Firefox.
It is recommended that you empty your browser cache periodically as a good maintenance procedure. This prevents your browser cache from taking up large amounts of memory in your computer and assures that the web pages you access are the most current versions available.
Deleting your cache is also useful if you are experiencing errors while attempting to access web pages, whether they are University based (including the UW PeopleSoft HRMS and Financials systems), or belong to an outside company. Many of these errors can be corrected by deleting your browser cache and restarting your browser.
