Ask IT Help Documents

Some users may prefer to receive email messages sent to their UW account in a different personal email account. Email sent to your UW email account can be redirected to another email account by setting up a rule in Outlook. This can be accomplished by first logging into your UW email account on the UW Web Email web page at uwmail.uwyo.edu.
The rule will show up in your list of rules and your emails will now be redirected to the specified email address.
Note: this will not delete the original email messages from your UW Inbox, so you may want to periodically log into your UW email and clear your inbox to avoid reaching your inbox size limit.
Note: If you choose to keep a copy of forwarded messages, you may want to periodically log into your UW email and clear your inbox to avoid reaching your inbox size limit.
