How many computers can I install the software to?
Each software product can be installed to one (1) computer only. When installing from
DVD, if the product is installed on multiple computers, Microsoft will not allow the second installation to be activated.

What are the pros and cons of each method of attaining the software?
Downloading the software is free, but you are responsible for making a backup copy of the download file(s) for if you ever need to reinstall the software. Your free access to the software and activation keys will be limited to 30 days from the day you purchased it. After that, you will need to pay a retrieval free to gain access to the software and keys again.
DVDs must be purchased, and if the media is not stocked at the local distribution partners, you will be responsible for the shipping charges incurred.
What options do I have for downloading?
To download WyoWare software, you will need a high speed Internet connection, such as Optimum cable, Qwest DSL, or Residence Hall Ethernet. If you do not have a connection like that at home, then you can use a computer that does have that connection, and save the software to a DVD or external storage device. The UWSTUDENT computer labs are available to download the software if you have a DVD or external storage device to save the software.
Do I need a high speed Internet connection to download the Campus Agreement software?
Yes, due to the size of the installation files for the various software
packages, you will need a high speed Internet connection (Optimum cable modem, Qwest DSL, Residence Hall Ethernet connection) to download the software. If you do not have access to a high speed Internet connection at your residence or a friend or neighbor's residence, you can go to a UWSTUDENT computer lab to download the file and then save it to DVD or other external storage device.
What if I need to reinstall the software, but I do not have a backup of the installation file that I downloaded in order to do this?
In the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to when downloading the software installation files or ordering media through this program, it states that "I understand that I am eligible to receive one (1) copy of each product that is covered under the Campus Agreement Student Option. I will not download or order multiple copies of any product provided through the University of Wyoming Campus Agreement."
You are entitled to one (1) download or one (1) set of DVDs only (not both) for each software package. Therefore, it is critical that you back up the file(s) that you download and keep them and/or the software DVDs in a safe place.
