The executive branch is made up of the ASUW President, Vice President and executive assistants. The duty of the president and executives is to promote and pursue the objectives of ASUW. They work with the ASUW Senate, UW Board of Trustees, university officials and local and state governments.

President Defebaugh and Vice President Kahler serve the student body through their continuous interactions and partnerships with the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees, university officials and state and local government.
