Seven Domains of Student Wellness

Wellness is a process of intentionally striving for balance among and within the seven domains of health:

Emotional Health
The ability to cope with stress and to express the full-range of emotions appropriately and comfortably.
Financial Health
The ability to plan, to save and to spend financial resources efficiently.
Intellectual Health
The ability to learn, to develop knowledge and to use information effectively
Interpersonal Health
The ability to interact successfully with people and to develop close and sustaining relationships.
Occupational Health
The ability to make appropriate decisions about one's job and career, and to find work that is satisfying.
Physical Health
The ability to carry out daily tasks, to develop cardiovascular fitness, maintain adequate nutrition and sleep, as well as creating good self-care habits.
Spiritual Health
The ability to clarify personal beliefs and mission that provides meaning and purpose to life.
