Chinese Ambassador's Wyoming Scholar - Application and Conditions - Deadline: Check back later in the fall

The Chinese Ambassador’s Wyoming Scholar (CAWS) program was established through the generosity of the Government of the People’s Republic of China and its Ambassador to the U.S., Zhou Wenzhong, in 2007.   This program funds one year of study in China and is a full scholarship covering most expenses associated with study other than travel to China.  The award goes to an outstanding student with a desire to pursue study in any field in China, including but not limited to study of the Chinese language.  Applications are welcome both from undergraduate and graduate students.

ASUW Child Assistance Scholarship - Application and Conditions - Deadline: closed until Fall of 2015

Nearly one in three students attending UW is a non-traditional student. These students make up a diverse group with a variety of life experiences, backgrounds, skills, responsibilities and needs. To lighten the financial difficulty of students who are parents, the ASUW has created a Child Assistance scholarship. This student must have a child dependent and demonstrate financial need. This scholarship will have a value of $1,000 for one semester and will be awarded the spring semester following application. This year, ASUW will be awarding 10 (ten) $1,000 scholarships. Previous recipients are encouraged to apply again with the understanding that each application will be given equal review and consideration.

Each year, ASUW sponsors four scholarships and hands out thousands of dollars to current and incoming students of the University of Wyoming. Check the information below about each scholarship to learn more about the programs ASUW Sponsors.
