Program of Study


For the PhD, the core course requirement is the same as that for the M.S. degree which is shown below. Candidates for the degree are required to demonstrate satisfactory progress and proficiency in the general areas of atmospheric science to their Graduate Committee during a rigorous qualifying assessment (the Qualifying Exam) to be conducted no later than the end of the third semester of their program.
