Membership Requirements


In order to be considered for initiation, candidates must:

  1. Have declared, or stated an intention to declare, a concentration in accounting, finance or information systems.
  2. Have completed at least one year of college courses (30+ hours)
  3. Have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above


Members must meet all of the requirements of candidates, plus:
    1) Have completed at least one upper-level course in their declared field
    2) Have paid a one-time Nationals initiation fee of $75
    3) Have participated in the membership initiation ceremony

Continuing Requirements

 In addition to the criteria above, Members and Candidates must meet
 activity requirements each year:
    1) Earn 12 Professional hours per year
    2) Participate in 12 service hours per year
    3) Earn an additional 2 hours per year in either of the above categories
    4) Serve on 1 committee per year or host 1 meeting per year 

 Meeting times for each category will be announced throughout the semester
