General Information

The "Mostly Summer" Master of Music Education Degree operates on a "cohort system." Every five years, we start a new group of students. All students take the same classes. If you have been thinking about starting a masters, please be aware that we will not start another cohort till 2018.
This will be our 4th Cohort. Approximately 44 students have been members of the first three cohorts.
We guarantee that once we start the cohort, we will offer the degree in three summers and 2 academic years. We can't guarantee classes if you miss a class.
The MME degree has 30 credit hours of classes.
A Comprehensive Written Exam will be given during your last summer. There are three questions--Theory, History, and Music Education.
Final project will be a portfolio involving written work from all the classes. It will be submitted at the end of your course of study.
