Rocky Mountaineering plans to manufacture rock-climbing and mountaineering products in Laramie, WY. Their core competency is the design and production of products using composite materials. The innovative use of composite materials to create products that fulfill customer's needs gives them a competitive advantage.

2nd Place Team: Windswept Energy Solutions

The vision of Windswept Energy Solutions is to provide both domestic and international markets with wind energy production--an environmentally clean solution to electricity generating needs. The business concept involves the manufacture of two varieties of wind turbines to be sold to agricultural and third-world markets for the purpose of power generation.
