Marco Iachini, 2011-12 Intern of the Year
Being an international student makes it more complicated when it comes to being able to work off campus. Before even applying for my internship, Mr. Farkas worked with me on my resume for a couple of weeks and helped me making it as professional as possible. After meeting with companies at the career fair during the spring of 2011 I was offered a position with Wells Fargo as a teller. It was great news and I definitely thank Mr. Farkas for all the help. Since then, I moved up in the company but Mr. Farkas has remained a great source of help whenever I needed advice.
This internship is very challenging and it pushes me to give my best and more every day. It’s teaching me valuable life lessons and the material I learn in class goes hand in hand with what I experience at work. This award goes to me, that is indeed true, but it’s an award that I equally share with the people at the JCC and the people at Wells Fargo.
