FBLA Scholarships

FBLA Wyoming State Officer Scholarship

Decision Criteria

  • Incoming first-year student who must have completed the FAFSA
  • Above 3.5 High School Unweighted GPA
  • Held Chapter Officer Position within FBLA
  • Scholarship allocation does not exceed cost of tuition

Scholarship Renewals

Following the student's first year, renewal of their scholarship each year is dependent on the student remaining high achieving in a respective business discipline which is defined as:

  • Taking a minimum of 15 credit hours/semester while remaining a College of Business student
  • Maintaining a minimum Institutional and College GPA of 3.5
  • Participation as a member of Wyoming Collegiate FBLA Chapter

Dispersal of Scholarship Awards

All Awards will be distributed through our Student Financial Aid Office along with the overarching financial aid package. College of Business students who earn scholarships are required to write a thank you note for the scholarship and signatures are required within the College of Business Dean's Office upon an incoming student's arrival on campus. Scholarships are guaranteed once offered and are all pending a student's official enrollment. An email notification will go out to incoming students who meet the criteria for this scholarship on a rolling basis along with additional instructions. Scholarship award amounts are based upon the student's residency status:

  • FBLA students that meet these criteria are offered $1,000

 

 

 

FBLA National Officer Scholarship

Decision Criteria

  • Incoming first-year student who must have completed the FAFSA
  • Above 3.5 High School Unweighted GPA
  • Held National Officer Position within FBLA
  • Scholarship allocation does not exceed cost of tuition

Scholarship Renewals

  • Taking a minimum of 15 credit hours/semester while remaining a College of Business student
  • Maintaining a minimum Institutional and College GPA of 3.5
  • Participation as a member of Wyoming Collegiate FBLA Chapter (Starting Fall 2018)

College of Business students who earn scholarships are required to write a thank you note for the scholarship and signatures are required within the College of Business Dean's Office upon an incoming student's arrival on campus. Scholarships are guaranteed once offered and are all pending a student's official enrollment. A formal notification will go out to incoming students who meet the criteria for this scholarship in April upon new officer elections along with additional instructions. Scholarship award amounts are based upon the student's residency status:

  • FBLA students who meet these criteria are offered up to a $10,000 scholarship
