FE Exam

The completion of this exam is a graduation requirement for all engineering undergraduates except Computer Science majors. It is expected that you will give a good faith effort to pass. Failure to give a good faith effort to pass may result in a delay in your graduation and a requirement that you take the exam again.

Exam Approval: Download the application, complete it, print it, and return it (unsigned) to Laurie Bonini in EN 2085.  She will notarize it for you and forward it for approval.

Application Instructions

The NCEES Examinee Guide is the official guide to policies and procedures for all NCEES exams. All examinees are required to read this document before starting the exam registration process. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have the current version.

Examination windows each calendar year:

Exams are offered throughout the year. However, if you fail the exam, you may only take it once during any given window and no more than three times during a 12-month period.
January - March
April - June
July - September
October - December
If you are graduating in December, you must complete the exam before Dec. 15
If you are graduating in May, you must complete the exam before May 31
If you are graduating in August, you must complete the exam before Aug. 10
