June 23, 2011 — The Adam Towler Memorial 5-K/10-K Run had a great turnout this year with over 150 people participating in the fourth annual event on July 17. In honor of Adam Towler, son of Professor Brian Towler of the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, community members and his family have organized this race for the past four years to honor his memory. Funds collected from race entrance fees are expected to exceed $8,000 and will benefit St. Laurence O'Toole Elementary School, Heart-to-Heart Pregnancy Center, the American Heart Association, and the Boston Children's Memorial.

Congratulations to all who participated in the races on Saturday. The College of Engineering was well represented in the results.
