They are currently working on a textbook project for Texas Instruments on the popular MSP430 microcontroller. It will be released by Morgan & Claypool Publishers in June. Barrett serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Programs for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Daniel Pack is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pack and Barrett have teamed on textbook writing since 2000.
