August 27, 2012 — I'm currently a NSF GK12 EE-Nanotechnology Fellow in my second year of funding.  I want to continue my education and complete a PhD in order to gain a professorship.  I feel that, in order to more completely benefit my future students, I need to work in industry after completing my education.  The real-world experience would bring a powerful element to the classroom.
