Opportunities Abound

Elizabeth Hungerford

Libby grew up in Gillette, Wyoming. She will graduate with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a focus on structures in May 2014. She currently serves as the Vice President of Projects for Tau Beta Pi. She has been an active member of the Architectural Engineering Institute, currently serving as President. Libby has served the College by sitting on the Dean Search Committee, the Engineering Complex Planning Team, and the Engineering Implementation Working Group.

For the past two summers, Libby has worked as an intern at AE Associates in Greeley, Colorado designing HVAC systems for large casinos and hotels. She has also previously interned at KLJ in Gillette, Wyoming.

After graduation, Libby is excited to be marrying Dustin Bales. Next fall, Libby will be attending graduate school for a Master’s in Civil Engineering. She hopes to focus her research on the integration of architecture and engineering and sustainable building materials. Libby enjoys playing volleyball and running. She is currently training for her first half-marathon in May. In her free time, Libby can be found cooking, baking, and crafting. 

Libby is the 2014 Tau Beta Pi Outstanding Member and the Wyoming Engineering Society Student Engineer of the year.
