Career Prep Events Slated For Spring Semester

With an eye to the future, students should plan to participate in several career preparation events this semester.

Students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science can take part in several career preparation sessions geared toward employment after college. Beginning Jan. 27, the “Lunch-and-Learn” programs take place over several weeks throughout the semester and feature various instructional topics.

“Lunch-and-Learn” programs will be 12:10-1 p.m. most Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 27. Career topics will be presented by local professionals followed by a question-and-answer session. On-campus interviews with companies take place over the semester, with multiple interviews occurring Feb. 25 after the Job Fair. Spring Semester Career Prep Events

  • Feb. 17: Career Games (to assist students in Job Fair preparation), 4-6 p.m. at the College of Business Atrium
  • Feb. 23: Business/Government/Agriculture/Non-Profit Job Fair, 1-5 p.m. at UW Rochelle Gateway Center
  • Feb. 24: STEM Job Fair, 1-5 p.m. at UW Rochelle Gateway Center
  • Feb. 25: Several companies interviewing on campus, TBD
  • April 13: Just In Time Job Fair, 2-5 p.m. at UW Rochelle Gateway Center
