The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has agreed to support efforts of the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) Senior Design Symposium for the amount of $5,000.
Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, a regional utility company, has generously pledged financial support for the event at the University of Wyoming. The annual symposium allows seniors in the CEAS to display their research and design projects for a panel of judges. The projects encompass areas of education and research in the CEAS including chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering.
"The Senior Design Symposium provides our graduating seniors with a great opportunity to defend their capstone design project to a panel of various judges,” CEAS Associate Dean Steve Barrett says. “It provides families and others with a chance to see the high level of achievement of our student engineers and scientists."
