E.P.I.C. is a free online tool designed to help students prepare for their careers.

Preparation for a career after college just became easier for students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Wyoming.

The E.P.I.C. (Explore.Prepare.Implement.Continue/College to Career) program will be implemented in fall 2016 for all UW students. E.P.I.C. is a free online tool designed to help students prepare for their careers.

Students can use it to get advice on all areas of career preparation, including:

  • guided career assessments
  • gaining information on major and career choices
  • academic success
  • financial literacy
  • finding internships and post-graduation employment
  • how to write resumes and cover letters
  • interview preparation
  • value of networking
  • negotiating job offers and relocation information

All enrolled UW students have access to E.P.I.C. and can utilize the system for self-exploration upon creating an account using their UW username and password. To follow up their E.P.I.C. experience, students are encouraged to make personal appointments with professional staff members to further enhance learning around their career-development process.

E.P.I.C. is sponsored by the UW Center for Advising and Career Services, and partnered with the CEAS Center for Student Success/Career Services, Johnson Career Center, School of Energy Resources and the UW Outreach School to subsidize career-development education for students.
