Elementary and Middle School Students Set to Visit College of Engineering

Two groups of youngsters will learn more about the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Wyoming over the next two weeks.
The CEAS will host visits from students at Pioneer Park Elementary in Cheyenne, Wyo. The groups, comprised of fifth- and sixth-grade students, will make the trip to participate in workshops and learn how research is conducted. On Wednesday, sixth graders will take part in hands-on activities, while the fifth graders will do the same Sept. 21. The CEAS has partnered with the director of the Wyoming State Science Fair and Dorothy Tuthill from the UW Berry Center for the engineering and science workshops.
