Support the CEAS on National Giving Day

November 18, 2016

National Giving Day is Nov. 29.

The College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) hopes to connect with its many generous alumni, donors, and friends in a nationwide opportunity for giving.

The University of Wyoming Foundation will participate in National Giving Day, which is Nov. 29. It has become a tradition around this time of year, much like Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

CEAS supporters should visit University of Wyoming Giving Day to learn more. The full site won’t go live until Nov. 29, but once it is live, options will be available to give to various areas critical to UW’s success.

The web page will show from which geographic areas gifts are being received, have a live leaderboard and will highlight “campaign heroes,” or individuals who stand out thanks to their donations.

An email to CEAS alumni and donors will be distributed Nov. 29 as a reminder to participate.

The site will look similar to UW’s current You Fund site and will contain cards, or opportunities to give, for all seven colleges and eight units. If donors want to give to an area that’s not listed or to a specific program, the website will direct users to UW’s regular online giving site with a “GIVE NOW” section.
