CEAS Represented At 2017 State Engineering Society Convention

The Wyoming Engineering Society (WES) will host its 97th annual convention this week. The event will be Feb. 2-3 in Casper, Wyo., at the Parkway Plaza Hotel.
Attendees from the University of Wyoming’s College of Engineering and Applied Science include: Dean Michael Pishko, Associate Dean Steve Barrett, Professor Jonathan Naughton, Professor John Pierre, Associate Professor Tony Denzer, Associate Lecturer Ryan Kobbe, K-14 Outreach Coordinator Teddi Hofmann, Associate Director of Career Services Ann Jones, Coordinator of Alumni & Government Relations Baillie Miller and UW Director of International Programs Mary Katherine Scott.
Many topics critical to the engineering industry will be discussed in roundtable forums. Technical sessions will be offered for a range of topics, including water, pipeline systems, concrete, coal combustion and bridge design. There will also be an exhibits area to provide convention attendees with a range of opportunities to network with other professionals and learn about new products and technologies.  The exhibits area will be open from noon Thursday through 4 p.m. Friday. The event will conclude with the annual awards banquet from 6-9 p.m. Friday.
Registration will be available on-site beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2.
