Students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Wyoming have many opportunities to improve their career prospects in the coming weeks. The events include job fair preparation, job fairs and an etiquette dinner. The details for the events are as follows:
Job Fair Preparation
Drop in to have a professional look at your resume for improvements and suggestions.
1:30-5 p.m., Feb. 20, Engineering Building 2081 and 2082
8:30 a.m.-noon, Feb. 21, Engineering Building 2082
3-4:30 p.m., Feb. 21, Engineering Building 2081

BIG Job Fair/Engineering and Sciences Job Fair
If you are graduating soon and ready to begin looking for a full-time job or want to find an internship or summer job related to your major, plan to attend job fairs to network with employers. Both fairs take place at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center.
-BIG Job Fair, 1-5 p.m., Feb. 21 (open to all students in variety of majors)
-Engineering and Sciences Job Fair, 1-5 p.m., Feb. 22 (targeted to students majoring in engineering, computer science and hard sciences)

Etiquette Dinner
Enjoy a five-course formal dinner and learn about social skills, professional conduct and courtesy and dining etiquette and table manners. The event is sponsored by Cloud Peak Energy and organized by the Johnson Career Center and the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
When: 6-8:30 p.m., March 1
Note: To reserve a seat, bring a $20 deposit to the Johnson Career Center (Business Building, Room 187) or Engineering Building Room 2081. There will be one ticket provided per person and business professional attire is required for attendance. Deadline for reservations is Friday, Feb 24.
