Dejam Honored For Teaching Achievement

Morteza Dejam began teaching at UW in May 2017.

University of Wyoming Assistant Professor Morteza Dejam this week received a prestigious award from a Canadian institution of higher learning.
 
On Wednesday, Dejam was given the “Teaching Achievement Award” from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary in Canada. Dejam, who is a faculty member in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at UW, was informed of his award by Bill Rosehart, a professor and dean of the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary.
 
Dejam began his career at UW in May 2017 and his area of research involves theoretical and experimental studies of transport phenomena in porous media. Before joining the University of Wyoming, Dejam conducted research as a postdoctoral scholar and taught as a sessional instructor for one year in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary.
