Career Events On Horizon For CEAS Students

Two events geared toward preparing University of Wyoming engineering students for life after graduation will take place in the coming weeks.
Engineering and Science Job Fair
The annual job fair for the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences will take place Feb. 21 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center on the UW campus.
The B.I.G. Job Fair will take place Feb. 21 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the UW Conference Center-Hilton Garden Inn. This job fair welcomes all students.
Both events feature free parking at the venue and students are encouraged to attend in business attire. All attendees can prepare with EPIC and Handshake career tools.
Etiquette Dinner
Another annual event, the Etiquette Dinner sponsored by Cloud Peak Energy, will take place 6-8:30 p.m. March 7 in the UW Union Ballroom.
Tickets are now available in Room 2085 in the College of Engineering or Room 187 in the College of Business. To reserve a seat, students should bring their valid UW student ID and a $20 deposit (cash only, no checks or debit cards), which will be refunded immediately at the conclusion of the five-course dinner.
It will serve as an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of dining in a formal business setting before a job is on the line. Business attire is required for attendance. For questions, you can reach Ann Jones, ALJones@uwyo.edu or 307-766-2398.
