Zwieg Tabbed for UW Staff Award

Mindy Zwieg’s latest honor from the University of Wyoming should come as no surprise to people with whom she has interacted.
Zwieg, the office associate for the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, was honored with the E.G. Meyer Family Outstanding Staff Service award.
She was selected to receive the award based upon the following criteria:
• Initiative to do his/her job well
• Helpful interaction with students/faculty/staff/visitors/vendors
• Dependability
• Positive and cheerful demeanor
This award was created by E.G. Meyer to recognize staff on the UW campus. This is the longest standing award on campus dedicated to staff. It was presented by the UW Staff Senate on Staff Recognition Day on March 28. Zwieg has worked at the university since 2001.
“I was just tickled that I could make a difference with my hard work and feel appreciated for trying to go above and beyond my normal position duties,” she says.
