
Brant Is Featured Speaker on National Panel

University of Wyoming Associate Professor Jon Brant will serve as a guest speaker for an upcoming national panel discussion.
Brant, who is an associate professor in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering and the director of the Center for Excellence in Produced Water Management, will be one of the featured speakers for a National Clean Energy Week (NCEW) event. It takes place Sept. 25 in Norman, Okla., at the National Weather Center.
The speaker lineup for the “Innovative Research to Market” panel includes Michael Teague (Oklahoma Secretary of Energy & Environment); Berrien Moore (University of Oklahoma College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences); Jim Roth (OCU Law panel moderator); David Grantham (executive director, National Research Consortium); Dave Lampert (Oklahoma State University assistant professor of environmental engineering); and David Swank, the chief executive officer of Innovation Pointe Cooperative.
Topics covered will include produced water recycling and reuse, CO2 and CO4 UAV monitoring, solar PV, iEcosphere planning and design and artificial intelligence/machine learning/advanced data architectures.
