Chemical Engineering Head Honored by Society Publication

University of Wyoming Chemical Engineering Department Head Vladimir Alvarado received an honor from an industry publication recently.
He was given the 2018 Outstanding Technical Editor Award from the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). It is the fourth time since 2012 he has received the award. SPE recognizes members who have made an exceptional effort to ensure the technical excellence of the society’s peer-reviewed journals.
Alvarado served as an associate editor of the publication and was named as one of four executive editors of in September at the annual meeting in Dallas.
