Engineering Fund for Enrichment Funded Projects AY15

  1. $14400 approved - Pays for a small group of tutors to provide ongoing tutoring for at risk students (45 hrs/week for both fall 14, spring 15, and Summer 15 (reduced hours) semesters.
  2. $4824.7 approved - Support a group of 10 students attending the SPE Annual Technical Conference (and Petro Bowl) in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
  3. $1492.5 approved - Support a group of 8 students attending the 2014 AIChE Annual Student Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
  4. $1155.52 approved - Support a group 7 students attending the Engineers Without Borders' National Conference in Reston, Virginia.
  5. $18000 approved - Reimbursement of $100 for attempting and $125 for passing for any first time FE Exam takers in AY 2015 estimated to total ~ $18,000
  6. $300 approved - Support a non-voting delegate attending the TBP National Convention in Spokane, Washington.
  7. $649.36 approved - Support a group of four students attending the Workshop for Student Chapter Leaders in Houston, Texas.
  8. $1316.8 approved - Purchase of equipment (Bioloid kit and peripherals) to support the Laramie Robotics Club.
  9. $1088.72 approved - Support a group of three students traveling to Guatemala as part of an Engineers Without Borders' assessment trip. 
  10. $3840 approved - Pays for a small group of tutors to provide ongoing tutoring for at risk students in Computer Science.
  11. $3000 approved - Support a group of 16 students traveling to SanAntonio to attend the 2015 AADE National Conference.
  12. $300 approved - Purchase of equipment (fridge) for the EE Study Room.
  13. $1590 approved - Support a group of 24 students traveling to Albuquerque to attend the ASCE Rocky Mountain Regional Conference.
  14. Support a group of 13 students traveling to Boulder, CO to attend the 2015 AIChE Rocky Mountain Regional Student Conference. TRAVEL CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER ISSUES.
  15. Support a group of 4 students attending the ITE Western District Meeting in Las Vegas, NV.
