Power Groups are learning communities where students share a common first-semester schedule, based on their intended major.  Power Groups are designed to help you connect to other first-semester students in your major, so that you and your classmates can begin to build relationships that will support you throughout your undergraduate academic career.

In order to join a Power Group, you must:
•    Confirm your enrollment at UW
•    Submit documentation to clear your MMR requirement
•    Be registered for an orientation session
•    Be eligible for MATH 2200 (Calculus I)

It is possible to switch ONE of the courses in your Power Group, if you have previous credit for the course.  For example, you can switch MATH 2200 (Calculus I) for MATH 2205 (Calculus II) if you already have credit for MATH 2200.
