The Computer Science Department offers scholarships to encourage outstanding students to enter UW and pursue a degree in computer science. Alumni and corporate gifts to the department provide the funds for these scholarships.

Computer Science Department Scholarship Honoring Faculty

In order to encourage outstanding students to enter UW and pursue a degree in computer science, the Department of Computer Science awards scholarships. Alumni and corporate gifts to the department, in honor of faculty, provide the funds for these scholarships.

RightNow Technologies Scholarship Awards

Established in 2008 to support students majoring in Computer Science. There are two scholarships for the top advancing junior and senior and another eight for outstanding sophomores and juniors, based on academic excellence and faculty referrals. One award is also provided for the top senior design project. RightNow is a provider of on demand customer experience solutions that help consumer-centric organizations deliver great customer experiences. Founded in 1997, RightNow is headquartered in Bozeman, Montana, employs more than 800 people, and serves nearly 2,000 organizations worldwide.
