ESIG Staff

The Engineering Science Interactive Graphics Lab is a part of the Engineering Science program. It has three full-time positions and several student positions as lab assistants.

Full-Time Positions

• Dr. Steve Barrett, steveb@uwyo.edu, is an Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science and head of the Engineering Science Department.
• Cheryl Hilman, cahilman@uwyo.edu, is the manager of the College of Engineering and Applied Science computer systems. She spends a great deal of her time coordinating the ESIG Lab. She specializes in UNIX applications.
• Knute Ortiz, kortiz@uwyo.edu, is the systems programmer for the College of Engineering and Applied Science computer systems. He spends a great deal of his time configuring the ESIG lab systems.
