Continuing Nutrition Classes with Lights On! Lander
The kids will be learning about healthy eating and the food groups through the Happy Healthy Me series for pre-school and Kindergarten aged students. The older kids will be Munching their Way Through Wyoming History, as they discover what people during the 19th century ate.
Bringing nutrition to CWC in Sinks Canyon
Classes for CWC Work Force Services met in February at the Orchard House. The main focus was learning ways to eat healthy on the go. They prepared egg and cheese muffins, bagels with meat and cheese, birds ness and mini fruit pockets. All these items can be done in an hour or less on a Sunday and kept in the freezer for easy grab-n-go meals/snacks. In addition, they learned how to prepare salads to go and other fast lunch box meals.
