"I have saved $80 at the store by reading labels and cooking from scratch more" - CNP Participant
During a supermarket tour, two of the CNP clients realized through the label reading that they could eat a lot more food if they stopped relying on pre-packaged pot pies. Their favorite was 670 calories for one pie. They concluded they could make a family size pot pie for little more than what they store-bought pot pie costs and reduce the fat by at least half as well as lots more veggies. |
