Patrick McManus holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering (1999), and M.S. (2000) and Ph.D. (2010) in Structural Engineering all from the University of Wyoming.  McManus launched the Wyoming branch of Martin/Martin in 2002 and managed it through April 2006. From 2006-2010, McManus oversaw the Engineering/Detailing Department of Puma Steel and was an adjunct professor at Laramie County Community College, both in Cheyenne. He rejoined Martin/Martin in July 2010 to lead the firm’s Technical Committee, which produces design guidelines and tools to be used by all of the firm’s structural engineers. In 2013, McManus became a Principal for Martin/Martin Wyoming.  His areas of expertise include modern steel design, seismic design and detailing, design-build delivery, and construction services pursuits.  Additionally, McManus has specialized experience in long-span truss design, stability and progressive collapse analysis, and nonlinear computer modeling.
