The Minor (18 hours)

The new minor will start with the Fall 2012 semester, and will be met by completing the following required courses with a C or better:

• CRMJ 1001, Intro to Criminal Justice
• CRMJ 2210, Criminal Law
• CRMJ/SOC 2400, Criminology (pre-req SOC 1000)
• CRMJ 3110, Criminal Courts & Processes
• CRMJ 3350, Intro to Corrections
• CRMJ 3490, Policing

The following curriculum affects those who enrolled prior to Fall 2012:

A minor in criminal justice requires 9 hours of foundation classes and 9 hours of required core courses.  A&S students seeking a minor in A&S must have 12 hours exclusive to the minor and not used in the major.   A grade of C or better is required in all core and elective courses.

To declare a minor in Criminal Justice fill out the Change of Adviser, Major, Minor, Option/Concentration, College, and/or Graduate Status form.
