Graduate Certificate in Community College Leadership

School of Counseling, Leadership, Advocacy, and Design

Program Details

The graduate certificate in Community College Leadership provides aspiring leaders at community colleges with a 15-credit hour, focused program of study that will prepare them for more effective and efficient leadership service at their institution. The program is primarily intended as a Post-Masters credential, supplementing a student’s Master's degree in a discipline. It is also open on a space-available basis to students (especially community college employees) as long as they hold a Bachelor's degree. Although all students must complete the 9-credit hour core (in bold print below), the remaining 6 credits may be taken from any of the remaining five courses. The courses are all delivered in a distance format (online or synchronous audio/visual) and are scheduled so the program may be completed part time over 4 semesters.
