The Ph.D. in Educational Administration, Adult and Postsecondary Education, prepares students for positions as university faculty and institutional researchers.
International Students: Welcome and thank you for your interest in our program! Either a TOEFL score or an IELTS score is acceptable. We require a minimum score of 80 for the online TOEFL exam, with minimum scores of 20 in each subset, and the score must be at least two years current. For the IELTS exam, we require a minimum overall score of 6.5, with minimum scores of 6 in each subset, and the score must be at least two years current.
The Ph.D. program is 81 credit hours. Beginning Spring Semester 2017, we welcome you to take up to six credits of required courses (two courses), no exceptions, as a non-degree seeking student prior to admission. Any hours can be transferred into your program of study if you are admitted within four years of taking the courses. Classes are delivered either on campus, online, or through blended format (online and audio conferencing). Ph.D. students have an extended on campus residency which typically requires one to two years of work on campus.

There are two application deadlines for this program: January 15 for fall admission and September 15 for spring admission.Completed applications will be considered after the January 15th and September 15th application deadlines. Applicants must have a master's degree from an accredited institution.
