Read Across America!
Children of Laramie are invited to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ March 2 birthday at a Read Across America celebration, scheduled for 3:30-5 p.m. at the University of Wyoming Lab School Learning Resource Center.
Sponsored by Student Wyoming Education Association, the birthday party will feature arts and crafts, reading and writing centers, games and light refreshments. All local youngsters and their parents are encouraged to participate.
Read Across America is a national effort to build enthusiasm for reading in young people. The nationwide reading celebration takes place on the birthday of beloved children’s author Seuss (Theodor Geisel).
