STUDENT INTERNSHIP CONTRACT

I agree that __________________________, a student majoring in the Department of Communication and Journalism, will fulfill the internship duties explained by the undersigned field representative. The field supervisor should attach a job description of the internship duties with this contract. In order to earn academic credit for the internship, the student should enroll in COJO 3480 Internship during the semester in which he/she is working the internship hours. It is understood the student intern will work a minimum of 50 hours for each credit hour. Grade for the internship will be based on the student�s daily journal, work samples (if appropriate), and a reflection paper; these three assignments are due on the last day of regular classes during the semester. In addition, both the field supervisor and the student will be mailed an assessment form to evaluate the internship experience.
